    The following groups actively participate, fund and make the PAT tagging research program conducted by University of Miami Rosenstiel School of Marine and Atmospheric Science and the University of Texas Marine Science Institute possible in the State of Texas.  Tarpon Tomorrow works with these groups and local anglers to make the PAT Tagging Program possible in Texas.

   Don Savage and Savage Rods has worked with some of the most experience tarpon anglers in Texas to develop the line of Sabalo Seducer casting and spinning rods.  A portion of the proceeds from the sale of these rods go directly, without any administrative costs, to a fund for future satellite PAT tags for tarpon.  For more information or to order a rod from Don, click HERE.  Below are some photos of the Sabalo Seducer rod:

   Grandad's Fishing Tackle is working closely with Tarpon Tomorrow to design a new tarpon lure to be trolled or cast.  While it is to be used similar to the famous 'Coon-pop' originally desiged by Lance "Coon" Schoest, these lures will be unique.  Check back for more details when the lure becomes available.
